Description
Never miss a GST payment or lose track of input credit. Output tax is worked out from your sales, you add your purchases, and the tracker shows what you owe each month and whether it is paid. This GST tracker Excel template also works in Google Sheets.
What it does
- Monthly output tax, input tax credit and net payable
- Payments recorded against each month with status
- Due dates and outstanding tax flagged
- Works for GST, VAT or any sales tax rate you set
- Dashboard with tax by month, credit vs output and amounts outstanding
How it works
- Settings: set your tax rate and report year.
- Transactions: log sales and expenses; output tax builds from your sales.
- GST: enter purchase amounts and payments made each month.
What’s inside
Start Here guide, Dashboard (13 headline numbers and 7 charts), Transactions, P&L, GST, Analysis and Settings sheets.
Good to know
- Excel and Google Sheets: open it in Microsoft Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and choose Open with → Google Sheets. Formulas, dropdowns and charts carry over.
- Colour-coded: blue cells are for your entries, grey cells calculate automatically, so you can’t break a formula by accident.
- Sample data included: a demo business fills every sheet so the dashboard works from day one. Clear the blue cells when you start.
- Any currency: amounts show without a symbol, and you set your currency once in Settings.
