Description
Stop guessing your prices. Enter material, labour, packaging, shipping and other costs, choose a target margin, and the calculator gives you a rounded selling price, profit per unit and how you compare with competitors. This pricing calculator Excel template also works in Google Sheets.
What it does
- Total unit cost from five cost lines
- Selling price from target margin, platform fees and tax
- Rounded price, profit per unit, margin % and markup %
- Comparison with competitor prices
- Dashboard with margins, profit per unit and cost breakdown
How it works
- Settings: set your default tax rate.
- Pricing: enter each product’s costs, fee % and target margin.
- Dashboard: compare margins and spot products priced too low.
What’s inside
Start Here guide, Dashboard (10 headline numbers and 5 charts), Pricing, Analysis and Settings sheets.
Good to know
- Excel and Google Sheets: open it in Microsoft Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and choose Open with → Google Sheets. Formulas, dropdowns and charts carry over.
- Colour-coded: blue cells are for your entries, grey cells calculate automatically, so you can’t break a formula by accident.
- Sample data included: a demo business fills every sheet so the dashboard works from day one. Clear the blue cells when you start.
- Any currency: amounts show without a symbol, and you set your currency once in Settings.
